Honest legal, part two

Terms

You bought it. You own it. Be reasonable. The long version is barely longer.

The short version, expanded slightly

The deal: you pay once for a Quiet app and it's yours to use for as long as it runs. No subscription lapses, no license phone-home, no features held for ransom later. This is a purchase in the traditional sense — the sense your parents would recognize.

Your data is yours. Everything a Quiet app stores lives on your device. Export is built in wherever it makes sense, in formats that open elsewhere. If you stop using an app, take your data with you — that's what it's for.

What we promise: the apps do what their pages say they do, and nothing they don't. Bugs get fixed with reasonable speed for a one-person studio — which is honestly faster than you'd think.

What we don't promise: software is software. We don't warrant that it's flawless, and to the extent local law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages from using it. Keep backups — the apps make that easy on purpose.

Refunds go through the App Store and Google Play, so they follow those processes. If something's genuinely broken for you and the store won't help, write in — we're reasonable people. Person.

Don't do crimes with it. Use the software lawfully. Quiet Forge in particular is a professional tool; point it only at machines you're authorized to manage.
